The Amerec 9210-200 ADK automatic drain valve is designed to automatically drain the AK series steam generators, thus minimizing the need for manual maintenance and upkeep. Also, this automatic drain system will extend the service life of your steam generator.

Auto drain to increase steam generator’s longevity
A steam generator tank calls for complete drainage and cleaning after every steam session. This is to prevent sediment build-up and subsequent corrosion inside the tank, the two key elements that reduce the generator’s longevity.

However, draining the tank after every session is time-consuming and can be quite a task.

With the ADK automatic drain valve, your steam generator tank will get drained automatically after 20-25 minutes of your steam bath, flushing all the sediments out.

As such, your tank will be empty until the next steam bath, when you can fill the tank again with fresh water.

Note: this automatic drain feature does not empty the tank instantly after a steam session. That’s because the water in the generator tank remains hot for the next 20 minutes, and draining hot water can damage your plumbing systems.
