Mr Steam 99297 15 PSIG safety valve is needed for safe operations on CU series commercial steam boilers. This 3/4" safety valve is installed in generator models CU360 - CU1400 and helps maintain steam pressure at safe levels.
The valve is piped into a ground drain line close to the steam generator. And if steam pressure in the generator rises up to 15 pounds, this safety valve immediately pops open and relieves pressure.
You need one safety valve for every CU steam boiler.
