The Steamist 220 on/off control is a secondary control panel for steam rooms and works alongside the primary digital control panels. 
This control panel is meant to run Steamist generator units exactly like the main control and comes in handy for starting the generator from outside the steam enclosure. 
Also, you can run your steam shower generator even if your primary control panel breaks down with the help of auxiliary control systems like the 220 control.

Dual generator compatibility
The 220 control panels are compatible with two Steamist steam generator profiles, namely the TSG and SMP series generators. So notwithstanding your generator model and type, you can install one of these controls. 

Works with all primary Steamist control panels
The Steamist 220 on/off control very well with all primary steam room controls from Steamist. And that includes the Steamist 250, 450, and 550 control units. 
Meaning this control panel will complement the main steam shower control across the board. 

Easy to install
The Steamist 220 control offers easy DIY installation thanks to its simple design and basic functionality. 
These are wall-mounted outside the steam room and some four feet from the ground. You can refer to the manufacturer-provided installation guide and have this secondary steam control unit up in no time.

While touchscreen-based controls like the Steamist 250 and 450 can be too sophisticated for some users, that’s not the case with this Steamist control. 
This is a pretty basic control panel with an easily operable on/off switch. All you need to do is press the power on button to start the steam generator.
