Installing a CU-1400 36 KW Commercial Steam Generator

So when one of my customers asked me to install a 36 kW commercial steam generator in his home, I was surprised, frankly, had been one of the first times I had received such a request. When I arrived at the house, it started to make a little more sense because this was a huge mansion and they actually have a 1400 cubic foot room where they would make the steam room, also this room has a pool which pretty much makes it the coolest steam room ever. The Mr Steam CU-1400 36 KW commercial steam generator was installed in the basement of the mansion, which is relatively close to the steam room, the temperature is set by the CU1-D1 which is factory installed on the boiler itself, the only thing is it keeps the boiler on all day maintaining the set temperature, which is not something you want for a residential steam room, so the 30 minute mechanical timer was installed by the entrance of the steam room, thus allowing for on demand operation, however, the boiler remains on all the time and the steam pressure must be released if it is not going to the steam room, that is why the steam vent is important because it allows the steam vessel to stay at a stable pressure and allows for the steam to be released immediately to the steam room when prompted by the 30 minute timer. The heavy duty auto blow down valve was installed and set to turn on everyday from 12 am to 6 am, in this period the valve releases all excess water from the tank, allowing the boiler to remain clean so it does not build up sediment, also the boiler remains off during this time period. The blow down valve does keep the boiler clean, but it does not hurt to add a second layer of protection, that is why we installed the Amerec ASX-200 two stage water filtration system to clean the water before it goes into the boiler, because sediment is the number one enemy of the commercial boilers. The boiler is working very well without any issues, this makes my customer and his constant house guest very happy!
